There are a lot of options when it comes to storage. Whether you have big containers or small containers stack together, it is important that they are air-tight so that your camping gear are kept dry, clean, and odor-free. What is the Truth about Military Background Checks?

ok. I currently have a contract with the Marine Corps as an Aviation Mechanic. I have some things in my background ranging from traffic tickets to misdemeanor marijuana possession(age 17). i had a dismissed case of shoplifting when 14 or 15 years old. I am now 28. I have tried gone to the various courts in my city to acquire my "background" information. the ONLY thing that has come up for me is my misdemeanor possession of marijuana. I reported it to MEPS and received a waiver. my recruiter has not found anything else either, except.. he told me he "saw a couple of traffic tickets that were closed out, so no big deal". He has instructed me to report ONLY what has come up excluding the traffic tickets. At MEPS they drill into your head every 10 minutes that an FBI background check is just around the corner and that if you don’t "tell the truth now" they will bust you by the time you go to the next desk. well I followed the recruiters instructions and managed to receive my contract. I am told at Boot camp they also do a "FBI" background check. My recruiter has told me repeatedly not to worry about it, that the only way I will get in trouble is if I admit to it at the "moment of truth" I have heard MUCH conflicting information about this. some sources say disclose everything: I don’t know where else to look for information I have TRIED to find. some sources say don’t tell em, there’s no way they could ever find out. I have also spoked to recruiters from other services when researching into the various brances and recruiters from 2 other services told me the same thing about not disclosing everything. one service told me that my possession charge was unwaiverable and that was that. I just want to talk to someone who might ACTUALLY know as opposed to hearsay and conjecture from someone who thinks they know what is best. I have a family and have stopped "misbehaving" many long years ago. due to the economic situation I and my wife believe that the military is the best option for us. however, i REALLY do not want to leave my job to go to boot camp only to be thrown out for fraudulent enlistment due either to my inability to find my own information, or due to following a recruiters ill-conceived advice.
my military buddy told me they are just trying to weed out those who break under pressure. he never had a job as a processor or a recruiter however. anyone here know anything? I would be extremely grateful.

Many of the prominent – and often most vocal – activists in the demonstrations are paid spokespeople, PR people, producers and organizers and of course, lawyers who man the tip of the pyramid in these groups."

Suggestions on moving out at 16?

Okay, so I am planning on moving out. I am a 16 year old male and I have an established job as a comissioned electronics salesman. I made approx. 1100$/month part time and I am also a student. It is still summer so I hope so save money. My current financial situation is that I need to be more financially responsible as I got payed yesterday and now after paying my cell bill and buying unneccessary things (which I understand is bound to change after moving out), I am broke. I just took a week off work to be a leader at camp but there is still a month left in summer before returning to school. I have many things that clutter my room however I do not think my parents would have any faith in me moving out as they would probably see it more as a joke than anything.

Given that information, I must say that I am willing to make a change and the reasons for me moving out are as follows;

1. My pregnant sister is having her baby in november and she is living with us. She has turned this home upside down and continues to do so as she milks every moment of it. I do understand that pregnancy requires special attention and care but the way she does it is wrong and I am not giving her any more money if she wants to live at home at 17, drop out of school and get pregnant.

2. The big reason everyone moves out; parents. My mom is mentally unstable and DOES NOT want me to move out for some very clear reasons;

- When I am around, chores get done
- I am a reliable source of money
- Someone to talk to about finances, friends, and otherwise… (which can be quite annoying when its on an ongoing basis)
- I provide stability and a middle man to go through between family confilicts (which is really stressful when both parties are keeping secrets from eachother and use me as a grounds to do so)

3. Too much drama within the household is tearing me and my dad apart.
4. I am not happy at all with the cage im being place in mentally and financially.

I feel as if my parents are keeping me here to keep them happy which is suppressing my happiness. I do not think they are in the wrong at all but that aside, it has not become a question moreso a statement of "I am moving out. This is not a question."

My strategy is to include them in the process if they are interested. If they resent it and push away, then I will continue by myself. Does anyone have any articles, helpful advice, or suggestions on how to secure my future financially while being on my own?

- I will also be having a roommate and I know there is ALOT of trouble associated with this outside of the roommate agreement ive typed out. Any adivce on how to cope with roommates would also be will appreciated.
After having read some of the responses, I must add that is 1100$ a month after taxes and I live in Alberta, Canada. Our economy is doing just fine (as far as fine goes between economies) and yes, I have checked out legal issues country to country and more specifically for my benefit because I live on the border of Sask/Alberta, provincial laws and as far as the legal issues, I am good to go. Please do not comment on being too young as the decision is made. I am now just seeking counsil on support on how to do so better. And yes, I would like to include my family in the decision (even though it is made)
